A lot of our family and friends don't live near us so it was a way to easily inform every one of all the details, maps, accommodations, things to do and so much more. People kept telling us how much they appreciated having the website for all the information it provided".
Patty Goldberg, Jared's mom liked the RSVP feature. We had a very positive reaction from our guests regarding the RSVP function. "We were so pleased with the results; most of our RSVP's came via email. I planned the whole Bar Mitzvah on the website using the Planning Tools. I was able to track invitations, RSVP's, gifts and it was so easy. There are also fun things for the guests to see on the Bar Mitzvah website, like more than 200 photos, a countdown, a poll and quiz, and much more. The photos and stories are great for all the guests to learn more about the Bar Mitzvah boy (or bat Mitzvah girl) before the big day.
According to the Bar Mitzvah boy himself, Jared said the best part of the website was how easy it was to create. "I did the whole thing myself. I didn't need to know any programming at all. With Myevent.com all you have to do is fill in forms with your information and click a few buttons. You choose the design that you want and all of your information gets automatically uploaded into the template. Even my little brother could have done it".
Jared's brothers and friends enjoyed seeing all of the pictures after the Bar Mitzvah on the website. Josh, Jared's older brother said, "We had so much fun that night that I forgot what happened; the pictures brought it all back". Shane, Jared's younger brother liked the video clip of their dog "Nugget" that Jared uploaded as well. Perhaps the greatest thing of all is that the website makes everyone a part of the festivities, even those that could not attend the event. Jared had some relatives that were unable to make the trip, but the website allowed them to be part of the celebration as well.
